Marty Hix is a 2nd generation insurance agent that started her career more than 30 years ago obtaining her license alongside her mother Martha Leigh.
Deciding to join the family agency in 1993 she has served in all capacities from personal lines, commercial lines, and employee benefits.
She’s served as president of the Manatee County Independent Insurance Agents Association, past board member of Manatee County United Way, and is a recipient of the Business/Education Partnership Award for Manatee County Schools.
Michelle Woodham is a 3rd generation insurance agent that started her career interning at FCCI Insurance Group.
Deciding to then rejoin the family business she began her career at Trout & Leigh Insurance in 2005 and enjoys working alongside her mentor and Mother Marty Hix.
Michelle lives in Parrish Fl, has two boys Preston 9 and Barrett 6. She serves on numerous local boards, enjoys volunteering and giving back to her community.
Michelle loves being in the outdoors with her horses, traveling with her family, and working on the family farm.
